I have been using Dark stains version intermittently for a few weeks along with the regular IWhite. It has helped - in conjunction with an electric toothbrush - to make a bit of difference on the tea stains but has not removed them. As these stains are of long duration I thin k it will take time but I do think it is helping and doing so without excessive abrasion. Plus there is a definite overall whitening effect on my teeth which, though subtle, I have noticed and it has made me feel more confident about my smile. I wasn't expecting miracles and I didn't get them, but I like this toothpaste enough to continue using it and think I will over time get more of the stains off my teeth.
